The St. John Student Council operates on 4 different themes:

1. Bridging the Gap – We partner up with Lisenby Retirement Center (located around the corner on 11th Street) so that we may absorb wisdom from our elderly community, as well as help keep them company, & bring them more fun and joy into their lives.  Some activities include Christmas Caroling & Ornament Making.
2. HHH – Helping the Homeless & Hungry – We offer a way that our whole community can join hands in helping the homeless students of Bay County have food over the weekend (where they do not have access to meal within the school).  We make Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches each month in the Parish Hall, bag them up, and then deliver them – so that we may help those in need of food.  We need donations of jars of peanut butter, jelly, sandwich bags, empty boxes for transport, $$$, & BREAD on the day we are making sandwiches.  Watch for Student Council Fridays each month to help end hunger in Bay County.
3. Panther Pride – There are many activities throughout the year that show off our school spirit & pride.  Activities include Family Fun Night, Teacher/Faculty Softball Game, Renegade Night, Harvest Hoedown, etc.   Watch for the upcoming events.
4. Our Catholic Community – Most of all, we gather as a Catholic Community.  Programs here will vary depending on what is going on around in school, city, county, country or world.
